Peace, Captured

*
Fleeting
like deer across an open field
moments of peace.
Forever captured
through observant eyes,
that moment of peace.

This is beautifully expressed, Laurie. Love the picture and thinking about one moment of peace. I took a similar photo this summer.

If you are observant, quiet and quick this experience is definitely open to you and your camera for the capture, for the proof that it ever was.

If we can't enjoy such moments of peace, what can we allow ourselves to enjoy! This is lovely. Thankyou for sharing it, and thank you for joining BlogBlast4Peace! :-)

Peace to you and yours!

(A link to your post will be on "Peace Bloggers Unite" later)

Oh yes, Laurie, "like deer across an open field" — early, early, early this morning, after letting the dog out and back in again, I was bribing her back to bed with a treat when I looked out my "new" window and saw a deer, a big fellow with multi-pronged antlers, standing on his hind feet, eating ornamental crabapples off our tree. It was a moment of peace, a moment of delight, a moment of awe.

You definitely capture a moment of peace with your lens and words.

How appropriate and true! If we could only be observant enough to see how peaceful freedom is! Nicely Laurie!
